So Blood Car made Best of the Fest at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.  that puts Blood Car in the ranks of Herzog’s latest film and Christopher Doyle’s Warsaw Dark, not to mention Man on Wire, The Wave and WALL-E .  Alex Orr is at the festival and has also taken part in 3 panels, New Horror, Positive Piracy and he moderated a panel on digital distribution. Fun Stuff. Scotland is great. Will have picks soon

A whole strand of cultish, very alternative films in the festival titled Under The Radar was generated from a chance meeting with a volunteer at a bus stop during the Sundance Film Festival in the US. He told her about his film, Blood Car, a tale of a vegan who inadvertently invents a carnivorous vehicle, and she decided she had to see it.

Nice! this article claims that the new Under the Radar program was invented to give the good people of the UK a chance to see Blood Car……yeah ok, I’ll go with that.

Blood Car also played this festival, which stars Mr. Brune- so we can all safely assume that Mike Brune probably has an insane fan base in Little Rock, if not all of Arkansas. Everything’s coming up BRUNE
